Agricultural demand is not spread across the year. It concentrates into application windows measured in weeks, and a parcel that arrives after the window has closed is worth less than one that arrives inside it, whatever the price on the contract.
That makes the delivery date part of the specification. We plan backwards from the window — the discharge date, the inland leg, the vessel, the plant loading slot — and we say plainly when a window cannot be met rather than booking against it and explaining afterwards.
Distributors and cooperatives have a second requirement: format. The same tonne of urea has to leave our warehouse as bulk to one customer, as 1000 kg big bags to a second, and as 25 kg bags on hooded pallets to a third. Bagging on the route makes that possible without three separate purchases.

Product that is still saleable next season
Anti-caking treatment, moisture control in store and UV-stabilised packaging decide whether unused stock is worth anything in the spring.
