Service

Rail freight

Hopper wagons, mineral carriers and rail tanks across 1435 and 1520 mm gauge, including border transhipment.

Rail carries the inland legs that make a landlocked or CIS-origin parcel work at all. It is also where two European gauge standards meet: 1435 mm west of the change, 1520 mm east of it, and a transhipment or bogie exchange at the boundary that has to be planned rather than discovered.

We arrange wagons by type against the product — covered hoppers for prilled and granular material that must stay dry, mineral wagons for material that tolerates open transport, rail tanks for acids and solutions — and we plan the border crossing as a scheduled operation with its own handling window.

Wagon turnaround is the number that decides whether a rail scheme is economic. We report it per movement, together with dwell at the transhipment point, so the next parcel can be planned on evidence rather than on the last quotation.
