Service

Inspection and quality control

Sampling, laboratory analysis, draft survey, loading supervision and cargo insurance.

On a parcel worth several hundred thousand euro, the specification on the contract and the specification in the hold are two different claims until someone independent has checked. Nutrient content, moisture, granulometry and the presence of an anti-caking agent all move between plant and port.

We appoint independent surveyors to sample and analyse at the points that matter — at loading, at transhipment and at discharge — and we supervise the loading itself, because most quality claims originate in handling rather than in production.

Where quantity is the question rather than quality, draft survey settles it. Where the cargo is damaged in spite of everything, the insurance has to have been placed correctly beforehand, which is why it is arranged as part of the same scope.
