Service
Multimodal freight forwarding
Combined sea, rail and road schemes planned end to end and run through a single point of contact.
Most fertilizer and bulk chemical movements do not fit one mode. A parcel leaves the plant by rail, transships at a border or a port, crosses on a bulk carrier, and finishes on tippers or tautliners at the receiving warehouse. Each hand-over is where cargo waits, where demurrage accrues, and where responsibility gets blurred between three contracts.
We plan the whole chain before the first wagon moves: mode selection against the delivery window, the transhipment points, the equipment for each leg, and the documents that have to exist at each border. You sign one contract and speak to one person, and we carry the coordination risk between legs rather than passing it back to you.
Route options are quoted side by side — usually a fastest, a cheapest and a most robust variant — with the trade-offs stated, so the decision stays yours and stays informed.
Scope
What's included
- Route design across sea, rail and road, with alternatives costed against your delivery window
- Booking and coordination of every leg, including transhipment and short-term storage between them
- One point of contact with authority over the whole movement, not one per mode
- Consolidated documentation, so a single set follows the cargo across all borders
- Position reporting at agreed intervals and on every exception
- Agreed KPIs — transit time, on-time delivery, documentary accuracy — reported per shipment
