Technical Urea
CO(NH₂)₂ — technical grade, low biuret
The same molecule as fertilizer urea held to a tighter specification, principally on biuret. It is the feedstock for urea-formaldehyde resins, for diesel exhaust fluid, and for selective catalytic reduction in industrial flue gas treatment.
Where the downstream process is catalytic, the contaminant profile matters more than the assay: trace metals that would be irrelevant in a field will poison a catalyst.

Classification, HS code and transport regime are confirmed per grade and per route at the offer stage. Figures below are indicative of the standard specification.
Packaging
- Bulk, in dedicated covered equipment
- Big bag 500 / 1000 kg with liner
- PP bags 25 and 50 kg with liner, palletised and hooded
Storage and handling
- Dry, sealed storage; hygroscopic
- Dedicated storage where the downstream use is catalytic — cross-contamination is the risk, not degradation
- Segregate from acids, nitrites and oxidisers
Transport
- Unregulated for transport by road, rail and sea
- Dedicated or verified-clean equipment where the end use requires low contaminant loading
Documents
- Technical data sheet (TDS) — issued with the offer
- Safety data sheet (SDS) in the languages of transit and destination
- Certificate of analysis, lot-specific, drawn at loading
- Certificate of origin and EUR.1 where the destination allows preference
Documents are issued against a confirmed enquiry rather than published for download — an SDS is only meaningful for the grade and revision actually shipped.
